Returnable Boxes Solution – Case Study

The Customer 

Our Burton on Trent based customer is a leading partner for testing, inspection and certifications services with comprehensive solutions in Infrastructure, Environment, Building & Real Estate and Advisory.  

The Challenge 

In this situation, what was required was boxes that the customer could send to site and get returned for re-use. The ideal solution being returnable boxes with a long-life span.  

Sustainability was also an important factor to consider. The Solution 

After discussing the needs of the reusable boxes with the customer, we provided a solution of Embossed Euro Containers. We produce 5000 at a time, hold in stock and the customer calls off in pallet quantities for next day delivery when required. This was a solution that worked very well for them. 

Of the last 5000 ordered, there has only been 10 breaks in a year – much better than previous Attached Lid Containers they were using. 

Boxes transport empty bottles in and out to site all over the country by APC carriers and return within 3-4 weeks. It’s a continuous pool system, the boxes get harsh treatment, so to have only experienced 10 breaks in a year is a testament to the durability and quality of the boxes.
