Our UN Pallet Boxes are designed, tested and approved to conform to the rigorous standards to transport certain Dangerous Goods* by International Maritime, European Road and International Rail. The main objective is to stop the environment being exposed to the contents in the event of an incident during transit; and this is achieved by incorporating an EDPM seal between the lid & the pallet box, securely & quickly strapping the lid to the pallet box and ensuring all fixings are sealed.
These specialist pallet boxes are designed to be durable, stable & resistant to water absorption.
For clarification on transporting Lithium Ion batteries, these UN Pallet Boxes can be considered along with primary packaging to ensure that New batteries do not come in contact with each other or conductive surfaces.
For Defective or Critically Damaged Lithium Ion batteries, please contact our sales department as these UN Pallet Boxes are not appropriate.
