Strong, easy-clean plastic pallets and containers from Exporta are the way forward for manufacturers and distributors of products in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sector where safety and the avoidance of contamination are of paramount importance. Although wooden pallets have many applications, their susceptibility to harboring pests, fungus and bacteria make them unsuited to the stringent requirements and regulations governing the manufacture and distribution of biologics and health products. Also. when it comes to export, wooden crates and pallets are not exempt from strict ISPM15 laws. It is little wonder that health and pharma companies are increasingly switching to plastic handling and storage solutions. Exacting clinical hygiene standards must be met and, to help achieve this, many of our customers use Exporta Euro pallets in their clean rooms. Made from one piece of reinforced molded high-density polypropylene, they are up to 35% lighter than their wooden equivalents. They have no crevices where dirt and bacteria can build up and are easy to sanitize. Incredibly strong and capable of holding loads of up to 7 tonnes, they can be moved with standard or automated lifting systems. Just like our Euro pallets, Exporta Polycrates won’t bend, warp or crack in extreme temperatures —a must-have for pharma companies and distributors many of whom deal with biologic and pharma products that require storing and transporting at temperatures as low as -42°C .
